When I moved to NYC eight years ago to pursue a dream of working in Finance in the financial capital of the world, I was shocked at what corporate life in NYC meant compared to growing up in Minnesota and when I worked in Chicago. To say it was overwhelming is honestly an understatement.
While working my corporate career, I've watched time and time again as corporate professionals dedicate all of their time to their career, pushing aside positive nutrition and fitness habits, and even their own self-care, to focus solely on the push to the top of the corporate ladder, which is why I decided to focus my 1:1 coaching on corporate professionals.
I have taken my coaching experiences in the nutrition and fitness industry as a Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coach, and American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Certified Personal Trainer and combined it with my experience of working a hectic and demanding corporate schedule to help busy corporate professionals continue to close deals while sitting atop the corporate ladder, but still make time for themselves by creating long-term sustainable positive nutrition and fitness habits.
The fitness coaching provided is designed to help alleviate your decision fatigue. Custom fitness plans are mapped into four sections focusing on mobility, conditioning, specific resistance training exercises tailored towards your goals, and core exercises. Easy to follow and straight to the point, so you can think about reaching your goals, rather than deciding what exercises you should perform and with what rep scheme.

Meaningful change starts with a clear direction. Effective goals go beyond nutrition and fitness to include all aspects of lifestyle habits. Defining both short-term and long-term goals creates structure -beginning with small, achievable steps that build to a larger goal. Creating these positive and sustainable changes can have a significant impact on your life.
Accountability is essential to achieve your goals and the driver of consistency. Accountability includes clear expectations, regular reflection and honest self awareness. Monitor your progress through personal check-ins, tracking habits or creating a structured routine. Holding yourself accountable bridges the gap between intention and action.
A strong support system is critical to your success. This means surrounding yourself with those that support and encourage you. This can include your family, friends, coworkers, or anyone else you lean on in your daily life.

But her great training is not even the best thing about Kelly. After only meeting once, I texted her about not feeling happy with my body, and she reached out like a best friend would. She talked me through the toll social media has on our perceptions of ourselves, but she also walked through my routine and nutrition in depth until we came to a conclusion. When I reached out to Kelly with my concerns, she developed an in person training session to coach me. She was able to correct my form during each exercise and made sure I felt confident in what I was doing so that I wouldn't hurt myself in the future. I wouldn't be as sore during my workouts (in a good way!) if she hadn't made sure I had proper form and gave me the tools to be more effective!
I have been working with Kelly for both fitness and nutritional coaching and have been so impressed with her! She goes above and beyond in every way - she is always available for questions and she makes an effort to understand my unique goals and then tailors a plan specific to help me achieve them. Kelly has created a perfect schedule that infuses challenging workouts into a manageable timeframe. She is extremely motivating and it is very clear that she truly wants the best for her clients!
